What is a NFT?
Non Fungible Tokens
A non-fungible token (NFT) is a special type of cryptographic token which represents something unique; non-fungible tokens are thus not mutually interchangeable. This is in contrast to cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, and many network or utility tokens that are fungible in nature. NFTs can be issued to validate authenticity of ownership through blockchain verification.
One of these projects utilizing blockchain in this manner is Zed Run. Zed Run is a NFT-based horse racing game. ZED RUN is a blockchain-based game that uses NFTs to represent horses. Each horse has its own unique characteristics, meaning you could end up with a champion stallion, or perhaps your horse is better equipped to be a stud.
A non-fungible token, a unique digital representation of a good — for work of art. It's akin to a certificate of authenticity or a deed and it's recorded on a blockchain.
